What Do We Offer - Individuals
Once we receive a referral, our Client and Family Services Coordinator will reach out to complete the intake and schedule a visit. At the visit, needs will be identified, education provided, and additional resources offered. If a volunteer is appropriate, our Client and Family Services Coordinator will work on matching the individual with a trained volunteer.
Our volunteers provided a range of services including companionship, transportation to appointments, light housekeeping, and help with grocery shopping. They do not provide personal or medical care.
Who Do We Serve?
Pine Tree Hospice serves individuals with life-limiting conditions. These conditions may relate to a disease such as cancer or general isolation due to inability to drive. Examples of qualifying conditions:
Individuals who do not yet qualify for medical hospice.
Individuals who live in our service area. Piscataquis County and parts of Somerset and Penobscot counties.
How To Receive Support?
Call. Anyone, an individual, family member or friend, or medical professional can refer someone to us.
